For teams, families or group of friends separated geographically, this is a great way to meet up, enjoy and learn about wine.

A Taste of Tuscany! is a 1.5 hour guided tasting session with an Italian sommelier and the winemaker himself.

Each participant receives a wine case of three “Il Convento” wines. All these wines stay good for days after opening.

Sip back and relax from the comfort of your home while the wine experts guide you through a fun interactive wine experience.

Gattavecchi

Gattavecchi is an important winery in Montepulciano. A Tuscan winemaker family for over 80 years.

With the fourth generation Luca, Daniela and Gionata Gattavecchi greater focus is placed on making quality wines, good positioning in the international market and running a family restaurant.

The name “Il Convento” refers to the former monastery of the Santa Maria dei Servi church.

The monastery was built in the 13th century by the “Padri Serviti” who have lived here until the 19th century.

The Gattavecchi family bought the monastery in 1958. The underground wine cave is perfect for aging the prestigious Vino Nobile wine.
