Toffoli
Toffoli was founded in 1964 when Maria and Vincenzo returned to Italy after 12 years living in Great Britain. A family winery in Refrontolo, in the hills north of Treviso between the towns Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and the area where the famous ‘Prosecco Superiore’ is produced.
Sante, Gabriele and Luciano Toffoli are the second generation and responsible for the wine production and sales.
I am proud to worth with this family winery and I will be happy to share my knowledge of prosecco wines with you!

I am bringing the Toffoli vineyards to you. This wine experience requires nothing more than your computer, tablet or smartphone and a tasting pack.
We ship the wine right to you as part of the package.
A unique experience to enjoy this special wine, in a one hour guided tasting session with an Italian sommelier and the winemaker himself, Sante Toffoli.
I will provide all the instructions and computer support you’ll need.
Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut Millesimato
Everybody knows prosecco. It is a sparkling wine made in northeastern Italy. Prosecco is made from the grape variety Glera, but can also be blended with other grapes including Verdiso, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.
The second fermentation happens in large stainless steel tanks (the Charmat method), not in a bottle like Champagne.
Prosecco is a wine best to drink young.
There are many variations of Prosecco and they are surprisingly food friendly too!
Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC
Another great wine we taste is a Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC. Pinot Grigio is one of the most popular wines in Italy and the world.
This wine is ‘a wine with a bite’. Dry, tasty and a slightly almond aftertaste.
We’ll taste the Prosecco Brut Superiore Millesimato DOCG and 2019 Pinot Grigio.
These two wines are a perfect representation of the Toffoli winery.

Cost
The price of the online tasting including two bottles of wine is Euro 35,00 per person (excluding shipping costs).
Cancellations
You can cancel the online wine tasting A Taste of Veneto! or you can postpone it to another date.
In case you want to cancel an order which hasn’t been shipped yet, you can easily send an email to info@sylviaitaly.com.
Bookings
For me it is a pleasure to plan and host a virtual wine tasting. There is not limit to the number of participants.
I use the Zoom application, for which you will receive a link per email. The live stream is in English and lasts approximately 1 hour.

With Covid traveling to wineries isn’t an option; however, doing a virtual wine tasting with Sylvia is the next best thing! Everything was fantastic.
My office set up a wine tasting trying two proseccos, a Pinot Grigio and Colli di Conegliano by Toffoli.
The wine maker Sante was a great addition to this tasting and provide a ton of information from the area that the winery is in to the whole wine making process for their wines.
This was the fourth wine tasting that I have dons with Sylvia and would suggest to anyone else looking for something to do while travels is not an option to set up a virtual tasting.
