Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG wine is produced organically from a single vineyard with the poorest soils. The wine is made from the best Sangiovese grapes. The property Pomona covers an area of approximately 6 hectares of organic cultivated vines at an altitude of 350 meters.

The vineyards are planted mainly with Sangiovese and Trebbiano. The annual production is 25.000 bottles of organic wine.

Characteristics
The wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is deep ruby red. With aging tending garnet. Pleasant nose with cherries, leather, oak and mushroom. Full bodied with soft tannins, tobacco and well structured. Persistent finish. An elegant wine to drink now or age.

Description

Fermentation and maceration on the skins for 24 days at 25°C.
Malolactic fermentation in steel.
Aging in Slavonian 20 hl oak barrels for 15 months and in glass-lined cement tanks for 9 months, then at least 6 months in bottle.

How to keep
